Hi Jim,

It was great seeing you yesterday at St.Thomas and I am glad that you were able to see the new facility, which I hope will encourage the kids and offer them greater opportunities. In the spirit of promoting the new gym and continuing the development of our very prideful volleyball program, Junior and Jorge will be running a volleyball camp for kids of ages 5-13, and I will be on the staff as a volunteer coach as well. We are all very excited for the camp and a lot of kids are showing interest, which is great.

This new facility has given St.Thomas the ability to expand the quality of the programs that are offered. However, in this particular case, the only things missing in order to completely provide the kids with all that is needed to give them the best opportunities to be successful are the little tools and equipment that make it all happen. As of right now the school has about 10 volleyballs, which I used when I played for St.Thomas back in the day. And I believe that is as far as equipment goes for St.Thomas. My hope, and the hope of St.Thomas' athletic program, is to provide the kids with the best, if possible. I for one know that luxury is an ideal that is out of reach for me, and in saying that I know that it is a reach for St.Thomas to give their kids the best only because of the many obstacles that make it challenging. Building the new facility was a step and a very difficult and long process. I hope that we can continue this streak of surprises and gifts that have so generously been given to the St.Thomas community, and more importantly the kids.

I thank you once again for all your support and the support of the St.Sebastian Project, and I hope that this email may bring about any donations to help St.Thomas purchase equipment for the volleyball program, and if possible before the first session of the camp, which will benefit the kids greatly. I humbly ask for your help on behalf of St.Thomas the Apostle, and especially the kids who only want a chance to learn and succeed. Thank you again for all you have done for St.Thomas, and I hope to hear from you soon. May God bless you and your family.
