10 Day Physical Fitness Challenge
Modeled after President Kennedy’s 1960 U.S. Presidential Physical Fitness Challenge. This is a fun 10 day exercise challenge accessible by teachers and students to keep kids Pre-K – 8th grade moving and active. Students are challenged to complete daily activities and track their progress. Materials are available right here and by accessing our YouTube channel the school and teachers decide the time frame of the challenge. Activities can be done as a class or, at home individually. Components of the 10 day challenge include:
– Physical activities
– Prayer and Mindfulness
– Hydration and Healthy practices
Activities are tailored to 3 specific age groups. Each group has their own videos and tracking sheets appropriate for their age. Students complete the activities and track progress on their honor. Parents or teachers sign and as a reward, the students completing the challenge receive a downloadable certificate of completion.
