Saint Gertrude the Great

St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Elementary School was dedicated by Archbishop James Francis McIntyre on September 10, 1950. Currently enrolling 230 students, St. Gertrude the Great’s small student population affords teachers and staff an opportunity to get to know students as individuals and respond to their specific learning needs. St. Gertrude the Great is part of the Seton Education Partners Cohort of Blending Learning Schools. The Salesian philosophy promotes a comprehensive educational experience grounded in reason, religion and loving-kindness, therefore St. Gertrude the Great Catholic School is committed to providing a competitive, academic curriculum in a family atmosphere whereby each student is accepted, encouraged and supported.
