Ascension

Ascension Catholic School was founded in 1938 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet. Since, they have proudly educated hundreds of children in the Los Angeles area from kindergarten through eighth grade. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and California Governor Jerry Brown, Ascension School continues to instill values of morality along with an emphasis on academics in every child they educate. Ascension fiercely maintains the formula of imagine, believe, and achieve to educate and inspire each child. Their staunch Catholic identity complements the academic program through religious classes and daily religious activities. This fosters a strong Catholic identity which aids in the education of their children into morally responsible citizens.
