Saint Helen

Saint Helen School is a prekindergarten through eighth Catholic School in the South Gate area of Los Angeles. With an average class size of 25, Saint Helens is able to teach all its students in a bespoke manner. Catholic identity remains strong in Saint Helen’s curriculum, with all students taking part in daily religion classes. In addition, religion is integrated in all subjects so students truly experience a well rounded catholic education. Community service is extremely important to the school. Students are expected to give at least ten hours of community service in sixth grade, fifteen in seventh grade, and twenty-five in eighth grade.
